Yellow-Tinted Glasses: Edouard Vuillard
Edouard Vuillard was a celebrated French painter and printmaker who made significant contributions to the art world during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He was an active member of the Nabis group, a collective of young artists who shared a passion for creating decorative and symbolic art. Vuillard's works were renowned for their use of bold colors, flattened forms, and intricate patterns, establishing him as a leading artist of his era. One of Vuillard's most distinct artistic characteristics was his fondness for the color yellow. Throughout his career, he employed this hue to great effect, infusing his works with a warm and radiant quality. His yellow tones varied from vibrant lemon yellows to deep golds and ochres, often dominating the composition to create a sense of luminosity and depth. Moreover, he frequently used yellow as a base color, allowing it to unify the composition. Art historian Gloria Groom observed that Vuillard's use of yellow was intentional, as it
Born into a world of strife and pain, With problems that would not wane, Institutionalized at a tender age, A childhood lost, an endless cage. Tragedy struck, a life forever changed, A child lost, a soul now pained, Family shattered, a broken home, A life of moving, forever to roam. Emotional scars that never heal, A broken heart that cannot feel, And the pain may never cease, The future holds no guarantees. Strength and resilience put to the test, And though the past may never fade, The future remains an uncertain shade.

Since society largely ignored and replaced me (speaking as a human being) years ago, I genuinely don't give a damn if AI replaces EVERYONE, including the money-grubbing members of the "art community." Despite the fact that AI will undoubtedly kill art for those in so-called polite society, which continues to grind people like me to dust on a regular basis, I will continue to do what I have always done: create art for the pleasure of it.
